We're live. Ship AAA games — even solo.
Monster Gaming AI is live and accepting customers: 146 AI agents for Unreal, Unity, Godot, and bespoke engines, one OpenAI-compatible API, a free tier with no card required — built by a team with shipped-title credits on BioShock and Borderlands.
Monster Gaming AI is live. Tonight. Accepting customers — free tier, no card, no waitlist.
Call it what it is: an Open Public Beta. Free tier included — and yes, paid tiers beyond it, live now. Beta means we ship fast and polish in the open; it does not mean we make you wait for an invite.
If you've been reading the Den since the quiet months: thank you for sticking around. If you just got here: welcome. Here's what's on.
Built by people who shipped
We're game developers. The team carries shipped-title credits on BioShock and Borderlands — the 2am-before-cert kind of experience, not the "watched a GDC talk once" kind.
We built Monster Gaming AI because on every project we kept wanting the same thing: AI that actually knows what a game is. Not generic code — game code that compiles. Not a chatbot — a pipeline.
What you get today
146 AI agents for Unreal, Unity, Godot, and bespoke engines, behind one door:
- Code generation — gameplay systems, shaders, networking, UI. Engine-aware, so the output respects your engine's idioms instead of hallucinating a framework you don't use.
- Debug and profile — AI-assisted crash analysis, performance profiling, and optimization recommendations tuned for real-time rendering.
- Asset pipeline — LOD generation, texture optimization, build automation, and content management for large projects.
- One API — OpenAI-compatible, 50+ models from 10 providers behind a single key. monster-gpt and Otto do the heavy lifting. If your tools already speak OpenAI, they already speak Monster Gaming: change the base URL and the key, done.
The money part, up front
We're devs. We've been burned by "usage-based pricing" too. So the billing works the way we wished everyone's did:
- The free tier is real. No card required. Generous enough to actually evaluate with.
- Every key gets a live meter. Requests, tokens, latency, and spend, per key, in the portal — not a mystery number at month-end.
- Spend caps on every key. A runaway agent hits a hard stop at the cap, with an alert at 80% before it. Your card is not the circuit breaker.
Stream tokens, not bills.
Pricing that reads like a menu
Plans run free → pay-as-you-go → starter → pro → studio → enterprise, and every price is printed at monstergaming.ai/pricing. No "contact sales to find out if you can afford us" until you're genuinely at the enterprise tier — and even then, that conversation covers SSO, custom deployments, dedicated infrastructure, and priority support, not a mystery number.
Promo codes work at every checkout, and if someone sent you here with a referral link, their code rides along automatically. That's the whole pricing story.
Try it without even signing up
The playground at monstergaming.ai/playground runs live against our API, no account needed. Talk to an NPC. Generate game code. Run a QA review. Three free tries, then a free account keeps you building.
Zero to first token, three steps
- Create a free account at monstergaming.ai/signup and generate an API key in the portal. The key shows once — stash it.
- Paste one curl. The quickstart at monstergaming.ai/docs/quickstart has it ready to copy — first call goes to
"model": "otto", our in-house model, and any catalog model works in the same request. Add"stream": trueand tokens arrive as server-sent events, the way your tooling expects. - Watch the dashboard. Usage is metered live. Set your cap before you wire the API into a build farm, not after.
First token in minutes. That's the whole funnel.
When your studio gets serious
Same account, bigger door. Monster Gaming AI and Luxedeum run the same control plane — one login works in both portals. When your studio needs the plane inside its own walls (publisher security review, co-dev data rules, government-adjacent work), the Luxedeum Appliance is the self-hosted version: published SKUs, your VPC, or fully air-gapped. No re-integration — the endpoint stays OpenAI-compatible everywhere.
You don't have to care about any of that today. It just means the free key you make tonight doesn't dead-end when your project grows teeth.
And because the plane underneath is model-agnostic, you're never married to one vendor's model. When a better model ships next quarter — and it will — you change one string in one request. Your pipeline, your tools, and your team's muscle memory all stay put.
We launched tonight — you'd be early
No fake studio logos. No invented player counts. We turned it on tonight, and early users get the thing early users actually want: the platform learns from every anonymized interaction, so the people here first shape what it gets good at.
